Rugby Canada Event Impact Data

Rugby Canada, the governing body for the sport of rugby across the country with an ambition to be a top 12 rugby nation worldwide, commissioned EHE to create a consistent method for evaluating the impact of its international events, including the Vancouver SVNS, one of only eight editions of the World Rugby series of rugby sevens.

The work included establishing relevant data points, designing efficient data gathering techniques and reporting, both using an internal dashboard and an external facing impact report. It was critical for Rugby Canada to be able to demonstrate impacts wider than just economic impact whilst also having access to raw data which enabled them to understand how to make continuous improvements with future events.
