Having developed a widely-used tool to assess the economic impact of events, Sport Tourism Canada wanted to create a standard approach to reporting the full impact of events, beyond just direct economic benefit.

Event Host Evaluation Consultants designed the STEER (Sport Tourism Event Evaluation Report) structure to align with industry best practice and provide Sport Tourism Canada’s members with a cost effective way of planning for, and reporting the widest possible impact.

STEER and STEER Pro align directly with the Event Host Plan and Event Host Report services and are tailored to the Canadian sport events industry.
