WBSC Baseball5 World Cup Report

World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), the international governing body for the sport of baseball, commissioned EHE Consultants to assess the impact of the Baseball5 World Cup, held in Hong Kong from 7th to 12th October 2024

Prior to the event, EHE Consultants collaborated closely with WBSC and the local organising committee to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that aligned with international standards while addressing the specific interests of local stakeholders. Using the selected KPIs, data was collected before, during, and immediately after the event. The resulting post-event impact report focused on five key areas: economy, image, society, sport, and environment.

FOCUS ON SUSTAINABILITY

Event stakeholders were particularly interested in showcasing contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). EHE Consultants highlighted the event’s measurable impact on these goals within the report, underscoring its broader legacy and value.

By providing a robust, data-driven analysis, the report equips WBSC and stakeholders with insights to inform future events and drive meaningful impacts.
